All of life is a circle
The circle is the foundational building block that lives and moves and creates in our lives. There is equanimity and wholeness in the circle and the giving and receiving in life easily becomes a continuing circle. It is from this dynamic, that The Continuing Circle has been created.
Many years ago, Rev. Trudy, spiritual teacher and guide, began to experience a continuing circle among the communities that she serves. Someone would need something and someone would give to the person in need. Then the person who needed something would give back when they could.
Recently, the community’s beloved friend, Marilee Lucken, moved on from the earth and left Reverend Trudy some financial resources that she wanted dedicated specifically to this continuing circle practice that Rev. Trudy is maintaining.
And so, a non-profit called “The Continuing Circle” was created to hold these funds and to give the practice of giving and receiving and giving and receiving a home.
A simple, yet powerful practice was born, of giving and receiving and giving and receiving. Rev. Trudy is the steward of this beautiful continuing circle practice.

To be in community with Marilee was to never feel alone, to always have a hand up and to feel without question the value of your contribution. She was in service to hospice without end, and was often the individual who was called at the 11th hour because she believed that no one should die alone. She would sit with the dying until they passed. Marilee cared how you felt about yourself. She was first with a kind deed and word.
